katie leigh & garrett

where do i even begin, haha? anyone who knows garrett knows that he is a one-of-a-kind cool guy. he and i go way back to our college years. okay, so it wasn't that long ago, but it sure feels like it! garrett has been a good friend of ours for a while now, and after he proposed to the so very beautiful katie leigh, he contacted me for pictures. i felt like i was photographing jcrew models...
a.) because that is garretts favorite place ever and b.) um hello, LOOK at them!

they did a great job of bringing things to add to the shoot. we of course had to snap a few in the range rover {garretts best friend}

rachel & jordan

i thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with this couple. these two have such great chemistry that it made my job pretty easy! the weather was a little up and down, going from warm and sunny to freezing cold wind and stormy skies. it made for some diversity for sure! rachel and jordan stuck it out and we had such a fun time getting to know each other. this is one of my favorite things about being a photographer...the "get to know you process". i love meeting awesome people!

morning is my favorite time of the day to shoot for a couple of reasons...1- you can't beat morning light for photos, and 2-when you photograph great people, it starts your day off right. after this engagement session, andrew and i had such a wonderful day together. i love spring time, and this was such a great shoot to start off the season!
